This role is a key position within our food preparation and service team, involving both food preparation tasks and various FOH and BOH duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing prep sheets for food preparation, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process. They will prepare food items according to company specifications, assemble orders for catering in baskets, trays, and bowls, and manage breakfast and lunch preparations and set up for next day orders. Additionally, they will be responsible for clean-up duties, trash disposal, and may be assigned to make deliveries either by vehicle or foot.
The position also includes secondary responsibilities that span several service functions such as expo, cashier, dishwasher, and line cook duties. This requires maintaining front-of-house displays and condiment stations, checking restrooms, busing tables, handling cash flow accurately, and organizing food for guest delivery. A critical part of the role is delivering outstanding guest service with strong communication skills, as well as being proficient with POS systems. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
We seek individuals with a solid foundation in food safety, requiring a State Foodhandler card or ServSafe certification as applicable. A valid driver’s license with insurance and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check is necessary for candidates who perform delivery duties. Experience in restaurant or retail environments, even if minimal, is preferred, and applicants should be proficient in basic math skills and English language communication. Job Requirements

- must be able to complete CBC driver training and pass MVR according to CBC standards
- maintain a valid driver’s license with insurance
