The company prides itself on delivering superior food and service that not only delights clients but also honors the state's rich cultural and culinary traditions. The position available is a full-time culinary role within Brazen Standard Hospitality. Ideal for candidates with two or more years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably with catering and events experience, this role requires a passion for quality food preparation served with meticulous attention to detail. You will work closely with a team in both kitchen and off-site settings, upholding the highest standards of food safety, presentation, and organization. Reporting directly to the Chef de Cuisine, your responsibilities will include preparing menu items according to established recipes and presentation guidelines, maintaining quality control of all food leaving the kitchen, and managing food labeling and storage for proper inventory control. This role demands a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to accommodate catering events and service demands.

The culinary team member will be entrusted with upholding kitchen order through adherence to established procedures and safety protocols, including thorough cleaning and sanitizing in compliance with health regulations. Candidates will also be expected to take lead roles at smaller catering events upon successful training. Brazen Standard Hospitality values dedication not only to the craft but to teamwork and client satisfaction, expecting all team members to consistently show up for themselves, their coworkers, and the clients they serve.

Compensation for this role ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, supplemented with tips that average between $3,000 and $4,000 annually, providing a rewarding opportunity for motivated culinary professionals. The company offers comprehensive benefits starting from the first day of employment, including healthcare, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance. Employees enjoy two weeks of paid vacation, complimentary meals during shifts, additional holiday gratuities, and employee discounts across all Brazen Standard Hospitality brands. Moreover, the company encourages career growth, offering advancement opportunities into Event Lead or Sous Chef roles within their expanding hospitality group. Most importantly, the company fosters a respectful and supportive work environment where employees are valued and treated with dignity throughout their careers.
