Aramark is hiring a Catering Operations Manager for Fenway Park and MGM Music Hall in Boston, MA. This is a salaried leadership role with an annual compensation ranging from $70,000 to $75,000. The Catering Operations Manager will have the vital responsibility of overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at these iconic locations. As a leader within the team, this position requires managing catering operations to ensure events run smoothly, efficiently, and according to high service standards reflected in customer satisfaction. The manager will lead the catering team to fulfill event and delivery requests faithfully adhering to client requirements and organizational excellence. This role involves not only operational management but also strategic planning, client relationship development, and financial oversight. The successful candidate will coordinate and facilitate event planning, food delivery, and setup for various catered gatherings while maintaining a focus on quality and adherence to banquet event orders.
In this role, the Catering Operations Manager will be charged with recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing the catering staff to maintain high standards in service and food quality. They will work closely with clients, offering creative solutions for special event planning and ensuring all catering requests are met with precision and professionalism. The role also includes responsibilities for managing labor and food costs, accurate record-keeping of revenue, expenses, and receivables tied to catering services. Additionally, this role demands a commitment to operational compliance, ensuring all food safety, occupational health, and environmental policies and regulations are strictly followed. Job Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work event-based hours including evenings and weekends
- Must possess food handlers and alcohol service certifications as required
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Requires at least 2 years of experience
- Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
- Previous experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Available to work event-based hours
- Must have excellent communications skills
- Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb

Job Duties
- Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs
- Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
- Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
- Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
- Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
- Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
- Responsible for delivering food and labor targets
- Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
- Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
- Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
- Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
