Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, established in 2015. The company specializes in venue development and provides end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. OVG operates and manages a diverse portfolio that includes seven world-class owned venues, iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This broad platform reflects OVG's commitment to delivering exceptional live entertainment experiences worldwide, positioning it as a pioneering force in the industry.

The Catering Manager role is based at Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium on the campus of Colorado State University. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000. The Catering Manager is pivotal in leading, supporting, and overseeing the catering and concessions operations within these venues. Responsibilities include managing catered events, athletic contests, premium hospitality zones, concessions, and other food and beverage services operated by OVG. The manager plays a critical part in ensuring high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction for student-athletes, fans, guests, clients, and university partners.

In addition, this position involves assisting in profitable management of catering and concessions, providing direct oversight and support to event staff, hourly employees, culinary teams, concessions managers, and guests. The Catering Manager must ensure operational efficiency, product quality, employee performance, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Duties also encompass guiding event setup, execution, and breakdown phases while enforcing food service, alcohol service, safety, sanitation, and company policies.

This role demands strong communication and organizational skills, technical proficiency, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and thrive in fast-paced event-driven environments, willingly working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Catering Manager is also responsible for employee training, scheduling, performance management, and fostering a professional and positive work environment. OVG offers competitive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, and paid time off including vacation, sick days, and holidays. This opportunity is open until September 25, 2026, inviting dedicated professionals to join a company committed to diversity, inclusivity, and creating exceptional guest experiences in the live entertainment sector.
