We are currently seeking an experienced Banquet Event Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is pivotal in maintaining the strategic objectives and operational plans of our banquet and event department as established by senior management. The Banquet Event Manager will be responsible for preparing and producing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), overseeing the entire event planning process including room allocations, managing VIP arrangements, coordinating transportation, handling special requests from groups, and liaising with outside vendors to guarantee seamless execution. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of room capabilities and capacities within our conference facilities to optimize space allocation and guest experience.
The role involves active participation in daily catering meetings in collaboration with the Banquet and Audio/Visual departments to review upcoming events and ensure all logistical elements are covered. A key responsibility is the creation of detailed and customized menus that reflect the theme or particular requirements of each occasion. The Banquet Event Manager will supervise the event staff, including Banquet Managers and support teams, ensuring their efforts are aligned towards flawless event delivery. Open and effective communication across all departments is essential to the successful planning and execution of special events, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Job Duties
- Maintain departmental plans and goals as developed by management
- Prepare and produce Banquet Event Orders
- Oversee event planning including room blocks, VIPs, transportation, special requests by groups, and coordination of outside vendors
- Utilize knowledge of room capabilities and capacities for conference facilities
- Attend daily catering meetings with Banquet and A/V departments to discuss upcoming events
