Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years catering management experience in a high-volume environment
- proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- ServSafe Certification
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to physically perform catering duties
- valid work authorization in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- at least 5 years of catering management experience in a high-volume setting
- experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, fine dining, or related food service operations preferred
- catering experience required
- knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills
- ServSafe certification
Job Duties
- Supervises and executes all catering events
- involved in catering events operations including logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and facility-related activities
- works with the Chef in creating menus
- trains catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service
- tracks and monitors labor and food costs for each event
- communicates on various levels to include management, client, customer, and associate levels
- maintains excellent client relationships
- assists in all foodservice-related activities
- performs other duties as assigned
