This company specializes in catering a variety of events, including weddings, holiday parties, corporate retreats, and social gatherings, all delivered with creative menus, seamless service, and exceptional design expertise. As the food service provider for the Frisco Roughriders, Proof of the Pudding combines a strong local presence with nationwide culinary trends, positioning itself as a premier catering service provider in Texas.
The Catering Operations Manager role at Proof of the Pudding is a dynamic and hands-on leadership position based primarily at the football stadium and similar event venues. This role requires managing and assisting in the operations of game day suites and catering events, ensuring service runs flawlessly and client expectations are exceeded. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in large-scale food service operations and exhibit proactive leadership skills. Responsibilities include delivering food orders accurately and promptly to suites, coordinating between front-of-house and back-of-house teams, managing event timelines, delegating tasks efficiently, and ensuring high standards of food safety and personal hygiene. The Catering Operations Manager directly interfaces with clients during events to maintain communication and ensure satisfaction throughout. Physical tasks are part of the role, including lifting heavy objects, setting up event spaces with decor, linens, and utensils, and maintaining cleanliness during service.
This position also demands excellent organizational skills, time management, exceptional customer service, and an ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to work all home football games and be ready to move around the stadium on various terrains. With competitive pay starting at $15 to $20 per hour, this position offers benefits such as free meals during work, opportunities for career advancement, and industry-wide applicable on-the-job training.
