The resort is committed to warm, genuine hospitality, cultivating an engaging and guest-focused culture reflective of Southern California's laid-back yet sophisticated lifestyle. Employees of Town and Country Resort benefit from a supportive work environment, comprehensive team perks, and opportunities for career growth within the hospitality industry.
The role of Catering Manager at Town and Country Resort is a key leadership position offering a salary range of $75,000 to $80,000. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting and has a passion for transforming client visions into unforgettable events. As the Catering Manager, you will be the driving force behind planning and executing catering events of all sizes right from the initial inquiry through to the successful completion of each event. Your responsibilities will include building strong client relationships through attentive listening, expert advising, and consistently exceeding expectations. You will collaborate closely with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and a flawless guest experience at every event.
In this role, you will manage all critical event details like contracts, timelines, room layouts, and service flow, while also acting as the main point of contact during event days to solve issues as they arise. Your ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure will be crucial to the team's success. Furthermore, you will have opportunities to drive revenue growth by identifying upsell prospects and maximizing the potential of each event. You will maintain diligent accuracy in billing, proposals, and internal event management systems, ensuring organizational excellence throughout.
