The role demands a keen attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience, hold a valid food-handler’s permit, and demonstrate understanding of professional cooking techniques and knife skills. Knowledge of safety and food handling procedures is essential to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen. The Multnomah Athletic Club places a strong emphasis on member satisfaction and quality service, and the Line Cook will play a crucial role in upholding these values.

Full-time employees at MAC benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Staff enjoy free access to state-of-the-art athletic facilities such as exercise rooms, classes, climbing gyms, and pools. Additional perks include free parking, discounted public transportation passes, participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support overall well-being. Employees also receive discounts on club services and meals, making it a rewarding workplace for those passionate about culinary arts and customer service.

If you are looking to work in an inclusive, dynamic environment where you can grow your culinary skills and contribute to a renowned institution dedicated to health and community, the Multnomah Athletic Club is the perfect fit.
