Sodexo Corporate Services is a global leader in food services and facilities management, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and delivering exceptional dining experiences across various industries. Operating worldwide, Sodexo partners with clients to provide integrated solutions that include food service, catering, and facilities management. Their commitment to sustainability, innovation, and diversity makes them an employer of choice for professionals who want to grow their careers while making a positive impact in their communities. Sodexo values inclusivity, respect, and collaboration, creating a workplace where employees’ ideas and opinions are valued and differences are celebrated.
In this role at Liberty Mutual’s corporate headquarters in Boston, MA, Sodexo seeks a Catering Executive Chef 3 to elevate the culinary and catering operations for a prestigious client. This position offers a unique leadership opportunity in a fast-paced, high-profile environment where the chef will support executive dining, coordinate large-scale catering events, and manage daily conferencing catering services. The role requires a hands-on chef who thrives on active involvement in kitchen production while leading a small, skilled team to deliver exceptional service.
The Catering Executive Chef 3 will oversee all culinary operations across 35 conference rooms, ensuring that every meal and event meets Sodexo’s standards for quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation. Collaborating closely with the Catering Manager, this chef will innovate menu offerings, manage event proposals and tastings, and execute high-touch catering that exceeds client expectations. With responsibility for ordering, inventory, labor, and food cost control, this position demands a keen eye for detail and strong business acumen to optimize operational efficiency.
Sodexo offers a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects the candidate’s education, skills, and experience. The role includes a schedule Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings and rare weekends. This schedule supports work-life balance while accommodating the needs of a dynamic catering operation.
Joining Sodexo means becoming part of a team committed to culinary excellence, innovation, and career development. Employees benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, wellness programs, 401(k) matching, paid time off, company holidays, and tuition reimbursement opportunities. Sodexo’s inclusive culture fosters respect and support for all employees, ensuring a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Ideal candidates possess extensive experience in high-volume corporate catering environments, demonstrating expertise in menu planning, cost control, and client-facing executive service. Leadership skills and effective communication are critical, as the chef will mentor a team of four hourly employees, including cooks and utility staff. This position is ideal for a culinary professional eager to lead a sophisticated catering program while maintaining a strong hands-on kitchen presence. Sodexo’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion means every candidate is treated with fairness and respect, with equal employment opportunities provided without discrimination.
If you are a passionate culinary leader ready to make an impact in a premier corporate setting, Sodexo invites you to apply and join their mission to create a better everyday for all. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, innovation in culinary arts, and participation in a supportive, values-driven company.
