As part of the Global Hyatt Hotels Managed portfolio, Hyatt Regency DFW is dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality experiences to its guests and corporate clients alike. Hyatt as a global hospitality brand believes deeply in the power of belonging, creating environments where guests and employees feel at home no matter where they are in the world. The hotel prides itself on fostering a culture where hospitality is more than just a job – it’s a career built on care, passion, and service excellence. This commitment extends to their Events Team, which plays a critical role in orchestrating seamless and memorable events ranging from corporate meetings to grand social gatherings.
The role of Catering Event Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency DFW is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about event planning, client relationships, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced hotel environment. The Catering Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and managing the successful execution of banquet food, beverage, and meeting room rentals. This role involves working collaboratively with clients and internal hotel departments to ensure event objectives are met with precision, professionalism, and creativity. Responsibilities include menu planning, agenda setting, contract review, and maintaining communication throughout the event lifecycle to guarantee guest satisfaction. Additionally, the Catering Event Sales Manager hosts hotel tours to prospective clients, builds and sustains strong customer relationships, and actively participates in event and staff meetings to align goals and deliverables. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Working closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff, the Catering Event Sales Manager acts as a key liaison between clients and the hotel team, ensuring every event is executed flawlessly. The role is located on-property, ensuring daily direct interaction with clients and hotel operations, which fosters a dynamic and engaging work environment. Hyatt’s commitment to nurturing talent means that this position offers growth opportunities and the chance to develop professionally within an internationally recognized hospitality brand that values diversity, inclusion, and employee enrichment. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a team-oriented setting and are passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that make guests feel truly welcomed and valued. The job offers a fulfilling career path within a respected hotel group, where every day brings new challenges and chances to create memorable moments for clients and guests alike.
