This role involves being the primary on-site coordinator, responsible for managing every detail of event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience for clients and the catering team alike. The Catering Event Manager serves as the main point of contact for clients, catering staff, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the event timeline.
This is a full-time position requiring strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in catering or related hospitality operations, and the ability to remain calm and resourceful during the fast-paced environment of live events. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational abilities and a keen eye for food presentation and service quality, setting the standard for excellence. Job Requirements
- Experience in event management or hospitality such as banquet coordination, restaurant management or hotel operations
- Ability to work long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Professional demeanor with clients, guests, and vendors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure

Job Duties
- Serve as the on-site lead for catered events including weddings, corporate functions and private events
- Execute event timelines and floor plans accurately and efficiently
- Manage catering staff including servers, bartenders, porters, and culinary teams
- Coordinate with vendors such as rental companies, venues, planners, and bar services
- Oversee food service, station setups, buffet service, plated meals, and breakdown
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met
- Handle guest and client needs professionally and discreetly
