- or 2-year degree from accredited university in hospitality or business related major

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- prepares all event documentation and coordinates with sales, property departments and customers
- manages event logistics and operations to ensure seamless event progression
- greets customers during events and transitions responsibility to event operations team
- ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with clients
- manages group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups
- identifies operational challenges and develops solutions
- acts as liaison between field salesperson and customers throughout event phases
- participates in customer site inspections and assists with sales process
- solicits feedback from property departments to enhance event planner experience
- delivers excellent customer service and empowers employees
- coordinates and communicates event details verbally and in writing
- oversees customer experience from file turnover through post event phase
- responds to and handles guest problems and complaints
- leads pre and post event meetings for assigned groups
- assists in sales process and revenue forecasting
- reviews guest satisfaction results with employees and provides feedback
- develops and implements corrective action plans
- works to continually improve customer service
- performs other duties as assigned
