As an Independent Contractor for Meals Now, you will play a crucial role in the company's operations, specifically handling catering deliveries. You will be entrusted with the responsibility to not only deliver food but also set up the catering at the clients’ location. The pay structure for this role is highly competitive, with earnings ranging from $18 to $50 or more per order, alongside additional incentives for attributes such as punctuality streaks, tier levels, and photo quality of the delivery setup. Payments are processed weekly via Gig Safe with a next-day payment option, ensuring timely compensation. Your work schedule will primarily be during weekday morning and lunch shifts, ranging from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with business operations active from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST, Monday through Sunday. The busiest days are typically Tuesday through Friday.

This role is well suited for individuals who have access to a reliable vehicle such as a car, van, or SUV (bikes are generally not accepted in most markets), and are prepared to utilize catering bags and carts or willing to invest in purchasing these essential tools. Physical requirements include the ability to perform light lifting and setup duties, which are integral to the successful delivery and presentation of catering orders. A valid driver's license, insurance, and a smartphone with internet or data capabilities are mandatory for seamless operations and communication during shifts.
