Job Description
Iacofano's Catering & Events is a distinguished catering company specializing in serving the private aviation sector and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) clients. Known for its commitment to quality and professionalism, the company operates within the fast-paced environment of corporate aviation catering. This is not your typical delivery service; instead, it involves precise, time-sensitive operations that demand the highest levels of trust, reliability, and attention to detail. Iacofano's Catering & Events prides itself on upholding strict protocols and standards, ensuring that each delivery meets the expectations of its discerning clientele who expect nothing short of excellence when it comes to their catering and event needs.
The role of Airport Catering Delivery Driver at Iacofano's Catering & Events is a professional and responsible position that requires candidates to operate company vehicles (including box vans and cars) rather than personal vehicles. Drivers serve a vital function ensuring that catering supplies reach private airports, FBOs, and corporate aviation clients on time and in perfect condition. Each delivery is executed in compliance with stringent aviation and security protocols, reflecting the premium nature of the service and the prestige of the brand.
This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while adhering to strict operational procedures. The driver must be able to work scheduled shifts reliably, demonstrate strong communication skills, and handle time pressure professionally when interacting with flight crews and airport staff. In addition to delivering orders, drivers are responsible for verifying shipments against invoices, maintaining proper temperature control of food products, obtaining proofs of delivery, and ensuring company vehicles are inspected and refueled as per policies.
This role is not app-based or casual gig work; it requires a professional attitude with a clear understanding of the importance of accuracy, security, and client service in an airport environment. The hourly pay begins at $20 plus client tips, offering a steady income opportunity for the right candidate. Employment is in-person and demands physical capability, including lifting loads of up to 30-50 pounds and navigating stairs, ramps, and airport tarmacs.
Joining Iacofano's Catering & Events means becoming part of a team that values integrity, operational excellence, and outstanding client experiences. Drivers consistently demonstrate timely and accurate deliveries, adherence to all documentation and inspection requirements, and professionalism in all communications. The airport catering delivery driver plays an essential role in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and reliability in one of the most demanding service sectors – private aviation catering.
