The role of Catering Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ is a fixed-term, match day-only position based in Seattle. Reporting directly to the Head of Catering, the Venue Catering Coordinator plays a pivotal role in orchestrating on-site catering operations for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 as a precursor event. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring that food and beverage services are executed flawlessly for all critical Functional Areas (FAs) including teams, referees, media, broadcasting crews, volunteers, FIFA partners, and suppliers. The venue catering coordinator acts as the central liaison between caterers, stadium management, operations directors, and other key stakeholders to guarantee that services are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The position involves hands-on execution on match days, where the coordinator will monitor setups, manage guest flows, address any operational challenges promptly, and maintain accurate records of meal counts and catering requests. The role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking under demanding conditions. Additionally, this position includes participation in pre-tournament training sessions designed to align the catering team with FIFA’s standards and operational procedures.

A successful candidate for this position will demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making abilities, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. They must be comfortable working collaboratively across cultural and functional boundaries and thriving in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Experience in large-scale events, familiarity with hospitality management, and prior exposure to international sporting events or stadium operations will be significant assets.
