The role of Catering Coordinator at Science Museum Oklahoma is a vital position within the Lancer Hospitality team. This part-time, onsite role involves comprehensive involvement in the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of catering events. The Catering Coordinator acts as the central point of contact for clients, culinary teams, and external vendors to ensure every detail aligns perfectly with client expectations and company standards. - Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Job Duties
- Assist in the planning and coordination of catering events from start to finish, including logistics, setup, and teardown
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, customizing orders, and ensuring that all event details align with client expectations
- Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for catering orders, event rentals, and any additional materials required
- Work with the culinary and operations teams to ensure all orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time
- Maintain a master calendar of events and deadlines, attending pre-event meetings and communicating event details to all relevant parties
- Liaise with external vendors to arrange equipment, rentals, and other necessary services to support successful event execution
- Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring seamless execution and promptly addressing any last-minute issues
- Manage catering supplies, equipment, and materials to ensure sufficient inventory levels for upcoming events
- Ensure all food and services meet company standards for quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
