The role of Catering Coordinator at McAlister's Deli is a dynamic position that combines event coordination, customer service, and team leadership to drive the successful execution of catering operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining catering systems, training team members, and collaborating closely with General Managers and Market Managers to ensure seamless service delivery. You will be the face of McAlister's Deli catering, representing the brand both inside and outside the restaurant to build and sustain enduring customer relationships. Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1 year experience in the casual restaurant industry
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • ServSafe license preferred or able to obtain one
  • availability Monday-Friday 9-3 pm with flexible hours including early mornings or weekends
  • reliable personal transportation with valid license and insurance
  • ability to pass a background check
  • strong knowledge of team leadership and goal development
  • well-groomed appearance and uniform compliance
  • ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced environment
  • positive and friendly attitude toward guests
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • able to meet physical demands of restaurant environment

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year experience in the casual restaurant industry
  • experience in hotel catering, coffee service, banquet operations, assistant management, food production, or bartending is a plus
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • ServSafe license preferred or ability to obtain a state-approved license
  • strong team leadership skills
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform standards
  • ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
