The Catering Sales and Event Coordinator plays a critical role within this bustling restaurant environment. As the primary local marketing and catering ambassador, this person acts as the vital link between the restaurant, the local community, and the Catering Support Center. The coordinator is responsible for executing targeted marketing initiatives that drive traffic to the restaurant, boost catering sales, and promote the use of the private dining room for a variety of occasions. By forging productive relationships with local businesses, schools, community groups, and other potential partners, the coordinator expands the restaurant's reach and reputation in the market. This individual also supports restaurant leadership by coordinating and ensuring the smooth execution of catering and private dining events, always with the goal of delivering excellent guest experiences and achieving 100 percent satisfaction.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, restaurant, catering, or customer service

valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, community organizations, chambers of commerce, sports teams, hotels, and other potential partners
conduct business-to-business prospecting through in-person visits, phone calls and networking to generate sales opportunities and catering leads
represent the restaurant at community events, networking functions, and promotional activities
execute and track local marketing initiatives designed to drive dine-in, takeout, online ordering, catering, and special promotional sales
ensure all in-restaurant marketing materials, signage, and point-of-purchase displays are current, visible, and aligned with brand standards
assist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of catering and private dining room events
coordinate and communicate catering and private dining room event details with restaurant management and team members
