Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be able to work 8-14 hours, with long periods of standing
  • Be adaptable to various kitchen locations and constantly changing meal times
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have three years of previous employment experience in a restaurant or cafe environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • ServSafe certified or ability to become ServSafe certified

  • Strong food preparation skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
  • Ability to work quickly in an extremely fast-paced environment

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
  • Plating prepared foods based on Lead Chef’s guidance
  • Working with FOH and hospitality team to ensure that orders are completed as requested and on time
  • Washing and cleaning the kitchen, cooking utensils, and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
  • Ensuring that kitchen operational procedures and hygiene practices meet food safety standards and regulations
  • Preparing the basic components of each dish on the menu using proven recipes
  • Monitoring product freshness and rotating out old products based on quality control schedule
  • Cleaning all equipment and storing properly for the next show
