Job Requirements

Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be able to work 8-14 hours, with long periods of standing
Be adaptable to various kitchen locations and constantly changing meal times
Must have reliable transportation
Must have three years of previous employment experience in a restaurant or cafe environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States
ServSafe certified or ability to become ServSafe certified

Strong food preparation skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
Ability to work quickly in an extremely fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
Preparing food including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
Plating prepared foods based on Lead Chef’s guidance
Working with FOH and hospitality team to ensure that orders are completed as requested and on time
Washing and cleaning the kitchen, cooking utensils, and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
Ensuring that kitchen operational procedures and hygiene practices meet food safety standards and regulations
Preparing the basic components of each dish on the menu using proven recipes
Monitoring product freshness and rotating out old products based on quality control schedule
Cleaning all equipment and storing properly for the next show
