Job Description

Jorgensen Farms is a renowned agritourism destination that masterfully combines multiple divisions to create a unique environment where organic farming meets special events. Known for its commitment to sustainability and community engagement, Jorgensen Farms attracts visitors year-round to experience the best of farm-to-table living alongside vibrant celebrations. From organic produce growing to hosting weddings, corporate gatherings, and festive events, the farm fosters a warm, welcoming atmosphere that highlights the beauty and bounty of local agriculture.

The Catering Bartender role at Jorgensen Farms plays a pivotal part in enhancing the guest experience during these special occasions. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service at weddings, corporate events, and other special gatherings hosted at the farm. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly, ensuring that every guest enjoys a safe and pleasant environment.

In this role, the Catering Bartender will engage guests with a friendly and professional demeanor while maintaining a smooth operation behind the bar. Attention to detail is crucial, as the bartender must monitor alcohol consumption closely and adhere strictly to all relevant safety and alcohol service regulations. Beyond beverage preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization of equipment and workspaces before, during, and after service is a key part of the job to meet Jorgensen Farms' high standards.

Collaboration is essential, as the bartender will work closely with the Catering Manager and other team members to align beverage service with the overall event flow and client expectations. The role also involves logistical tasks such as unpacking and preparing client products for bar setup, taking inventories before and after events, and assisting with the repackaging and loading of client products post-event. Commitment to health and safety protocols, readiness to respond to emergencies, and a proactive approach to creating a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for both guests and staff are vital qualities for success in this position.

Jorgensen Farms seeks candidates who bring not only the technical skills required but also a spirit of enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication to exceptional service. Embracing the farm's unique philosophy and embodying its “Bring the Cows Home” spirit will help the Catering Bartender thrive and contribute meaningfully to the distinct agritourism experience offered by Jorgensen Farms. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced bartenders passionate about hospitality and eager to work in a dynamic, engaging farm event environment where their skills directly enhance memorable celebrations.
