Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Established in 2015, OVG operates at the forefront of the live entertainment industry, boasting an expansive platform that includes venue development, comprehensive venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The company has earned a reputation for excellence by managing a diverse portfolio of seven owned world-class venues and providing services to some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. OVG's steadfast commitment to innovation and quality ensures they deliver outstanding experiences to audiences worldwide, shaping the future of live entertainment and event infrastructure.
As a part-time Catering Barback at Oak View Group, you will play a fundamental role in supporting our catered events through crucial bar-related operations. This role involves setting up and prepping bars according to Banquet Event Orders, ensuring all beverage supplies — including beer, wine, liquor, garnishes, ice, and mixers — are transported, organized, and fully stocked in preparation for events. You will maintain a clean, safe, and orderly bar area, where all equipment is cleaned, organized, and stored correctly. The Catering Barback assists bartenders, complies with safety standards, monitors guests in adherence to company policies, and ensures the responsible service of alcoholic beverages. This hourly role pays $17.00 and is tip eligible, offering employees a competitive wage alongside the opportunity to be an essential part of premium live events.
In this dynamic position, you will thrive in a fast-paced, changing event environment, demonstrating multitasking skills and a high degree of attention to detail. Operating under the direction of the Manager on Duty, you must maintain excellent attendance and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. The role also involves collaborating respectfully with guests, co-workers, and management, fostering a positive team-oriented atmosphere that enhances event success.
At Oak View Group, inclusivity and diversity are core to the company’s culture and success. OVG firmly believes that diverse perspectives fuel innovation, enhance service quality, and elevate the level of excellence delivered. The company is committed to equal employment opportunity, ensuring a workplace where all employees and applicants are treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran or uniform service member status, genetic information, or any other protected status under law. Joining OVG means becoming part of an inspiring team dedicated to disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry positively and creatively.
