The role of Catering Event Staff at American Dining Creations in Cleveland, Ohio, plays a critical part in ensuring the success of catering events. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that center around providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth execution of events. Tasks include preparation, transportation, setup, service, and breakdown of events, requiring a proactive approach to guest needs and team communication. Catering Event Staff will engage in duties such as setting up dining and event areas based on the catering manager's instructions, ensuring all tableware and serving pieces are clean and properly arranged, and preparing food items including washing, peeling, cutting produce, and assembling salads and sauces. Additionally, they are responsible for loading and unloading catering supplies, maintaining cleanliness and storage of equipment post-event, and addressing guest inquiries and requests during events. The position demands physical endurance, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver heavy carts, and sustain long periods of standing and walking during shifts.

Job Duties
- Setting up dining and event areas as per the catering manager's instructions
- Ensuring all tableware, place settings, serving pieces and decor are cleaned and available before each catering event
- Performing food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, cutting produce, seasoning, slicing meats, and preparing sauces and salads
- Loading and unloading food, tableware, and catering supplies on and off catering vehicles and carts
- Accurately setting up tabletop place settings including utensils, glasses, plates, etc
- Appropriately cleaning and storing catering equipment including chafing dishes, tableware, and platters after each catering event
- Being prepared to answer guests' catering-related questions during events and address concerns or requests
- May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed
