The Catering Server role at Trademark Venues is essential to the success of every event they manage. This position is perfect for individuals who are organized, people-focused, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Catering Servers play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of events by handling tasks such as event setup, serving meals and beverages, bussing, and post-event breakdown. More than just serving food, this role shapes the way clients and guests perceive the event, making the Catering Server a vital ambassador of the company's high standards. The ideal candidate brings energy, enthusiasm, and reliability, carrying a passion for delivering excellent service to both guests and coworkers. This person must be comfortable working in dynamic settings, with the physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods during events and to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience working in catering, banquet, or restaurant setting preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours or more in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a catering, banquet, or restaurant setting preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours or more in a fast-paced environment requiring movement and the ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Serve meals and beverages to event guests
  • set up and arrange table and other decorations per client specifications
  • bus and clean all tables and food and beverage stations during and after cocktail services
  • assist in assuring guest areas are neat and clean at all times
  • provide a great atmosphere for our guests and co-workers
  • oversee and support the setup and breakdown of the event ensuring efficient and timely execution
  • other duties as assigned
