Job Description

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery is a vibrant and innovative craft brewery known for its commitment to quality beer and memorable experiences. Located across multiple locations, Hangar 24 focuses not only on brewing exceptional craft beer but also on fostering community connections through its catering and events services. The company values creativity, passion, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit from its team members, aiming to continuously grow and improve its offerings to customers. As an equal opportunity employer, Hangar 24 encourages a diverse and inclusive workplace environment where individuals can thrive and contribute to the brand's success.

The role of Catering & Sales Manager at Hangar 24 is a unique and exciting opportunity designed to expand and develop the brewery's catering business across its four locations. This position is not about maintaining an existing book of events but about building and scaling the catering program from the ground up. The Catering & Sales Manager will own the entire sales process, from the initial client inquiry to the successful execution of catering events. This includes developing new business opportunities, cultivating community relationships and strategic partnerships, guiding clients through consultations and venue tours, and creating tailored proposals and event solutions that meet client needs.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong sales instincts combined with a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for building something new. The manager will be deeply involved in coordinating with multiple departments such as General Managers, Culinary, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure flawless event execution. Additionally, the role involves managing Hangar 24’s catering management platform to create scalable systems that allow the catering business to function efficiently beyond individual memory or ad hoc processes.

By taking ownership of catering revenue tracking, pipeline management, client feedback evaluation, and process improvements, the Catering & Sales Manager will drive continuous growth and refinement of the catering services. The position offers a dynamic work environment primarily remote, with travel between locations as needed, and includes a performance-based commission on top of an hourly rate. The schedule mainly covers weekdays but requires flexibility to support evenings, weekends, and special events.

Working at Hangar 24 means being part of a team passionate about crafting great beer and exceptional experiences while playing a crucial role in shaping an important aspect of the company's brand and community engagement. This role's success metrics include growing catering revenue, maintaining organized and responsive client communications, increasing repeat and referral business, and developing a scalable catering sales system. Employees will find an environment that supports entrepreneurial thinking, values detailed project management, and rewards strong client relationship building.
