The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is vital to the smooth operation and success of its food service locations. This position involves supervising, training, and managing daily food service operations to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient food production and service. The supervisor is responsible for monitoring food quantities to meet the needs without wastage, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, and ensuring food is served according to established menu specifications and policies. The Food Service Supervisor plays a critical role in leading a team, maintaining schedules, managing inventory, preparing production records, and liaising with vendors as needed to guarantee timely and accurate supply chain management. This position requires a hands-on leader who can motivate and develop employees, promote teamwork, and uphold food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

To succeed in this role, the Food Service Supervisor must have excellent organizational and leadership skills, be capable of handling stressful situations with emotional control, and possess strong communication abilities to resolve interpersonal conflicts and foster a positive work environment. The position demands physical stamina as it may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniforms. A high school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must be willing to complete a sanitation course if not already certified.
