Working at Horseshoe means joining a team that values family-style service, genuine connections, and a workplace where every team member plays a vital role in delivering outstanding experiences.

The role of a Convention/Conference Services Manager (C/CSM) at Caesars Entertainment is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of conventions and group events. This position encompasses responsibilities ranging from novice to experienced levels, where the individual is expected to self-manage while adhering to established procedures and guidelines. The C/CSM oversees the success of assigned conventions by managing group contracts and coordinating with various hotel departments to meet contractual obligations related to guest room blocks, meeting spaces, catering, and other contracted services. The position requires strong interpersonal skills to foster and maintain superior relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring that each event not only meets but exceeds guest expectations.

The Convention Services Manager will actively manage customer relationships from account turnover through event execution, acting as a liaison between clients and hotel support departments such as banquet and hotel operations. This role also involves generating incremental revenue by upselling contracted food and beverage minimums and promoting preferred vendors for additional services like audio-visual equipment and entertainment. Effective communication, meticulous organization, and an ability to anticipate and resolve potential service issues are critical traits for success. The C/CSM handles detailed documentation, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), group resumes, and fire marshal diagrams, ensuring that all event logistics are communicated timely and accurately.

This position requires proficiency in various technology platforms including Microsoft Office, Delphi FDC, LMS or other hotel operating systems, and Meeting Matrix, alongside strong analytical and financial skills for managing group requirements and revenue forecasting. A college-level education with emphasis on business or communications is required, with a preference for degrees in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications. Supervisory experience in hospitality guest contact areas is advantageous. Physical and mental flexibility are necessary due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, including the ability to obtain mandatory Nevada Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, and Non-Gaming Card certifications.

In summary, the Convention/Conference Services Manager at Caesars Entertainment is an essential role focused on creating extraordinary, seamless group experiences that align with the company's mission to "Create the Extraordinary." It offers a dynamic, challenging career path within a globally respected hospitality brand that values teamwork, innovation, and delivering exceptional service to both guests and colleagues.
