The role of Cocktail Server at Shamin Hotels is a vital position within the Food and Beverage Department. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Food and Beverage Director, the Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering exceptional service in the bar or lounge areas, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves greeting customers warmly, taking and delivering drink orders accurately, and providing knowledgeable recommendations about the cocktail menu, wine list, and other beverages. The Cocktail Server works closely with bartenders to prepare and serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and adhering to compliance regulations.

This position offers a paid bi-weekly structure and requires an individual who embraces teamwork, responsibility, and a passionate approach to service. The Cocktail Server is expected to utilize upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales, maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, and handle payment transactions with accuracy and professionalism. A key component of the role is ensuring compliance with all alcohol service laws, including verifying legal drinking age and responsible service to prevent intoxication.
