Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for ethical and sustainable beauty products
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly
- Commitment to teamwork and positive customer interactions
- Basic numeracy and ability to use sales tracking tools
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to adapt flexibly to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics preferred
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training preferred
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages preferred
Job Duties
- Drive sales by utilizing StoreForce dashboard results and seeking feedback to exceed sales goals
- Deliver a world-class customer experience by connecting with customers, identifying their needs through attentive listening and open-ended questions, demonstrating product benefits and features
- Educate customers on Lush brand values including fighting animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100 percent vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging
- Continuously expand product knowledge through ongoing learning to make confident, informed product recommendations
- Utilize Lush resources for personal development to improve sales techniques and product knowledge
- Encourage diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging by fostering open communication, teamwork, collaboration, and valuing unique team member contributions
- Maintain punctuality and reliability, participate actively in teamwork, prioritize wellbeing, and stay updated on company news
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
- Adjust product displays using visual merchandising guidelines to enhance customer experience
- Follow company policies and procedures for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety
