Job Description
Piedmont Driving Club, established in 1887, is a prestigious private club located in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Platinum Club of America, it prides itself on offering exceptional services and facilities to approximately 2,400 members across its two distinguished properties. The club’s Main Clubhouse is strategically situated in the vibrant Midtown area, nestled between the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Piedmont Park, making it a prime and scenic location that complements the exclusive and refined experience it aims to deliver. The club provides a wide range of amenities including diverse dining options, racquet sports, swimming, fitness facilities, and much more, making it a cherished home away from home for its members and their families. Known for its strong community spirit, the club fosters a supportive work environment where employees build lasting relationships, receive recognition for their contributions, and feel genuinely valued, whether they are new hires or long-tenured members of the staff.
The role of Dining Room Server Assistant at Piedmont Driving Club’s Main Clubhouse is a vital position focused on supporting the dining room team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for members and guests. This position is designed for individuals who take pride in attention to detail, are adept at anticipating guest needs, and are committed to maintaining a seamless and inviting dining atmosphere. The assistant acts as the backbone of the dining service by providing water and bread service, helping with table setup and clearing, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of dining areas throughout service. This role requires a proactive approach to hospitality, strongly oriented toward excellent customer service and teamwork. Working here means more than fulfilling tasks — it’s about being part of an elite team that consistently strives to exceed member expectations through thoughtful and attentive service.
As a full-time position offering competitive pay starting at $17.50 per hour, the Dining Room Server Assistant benefits from a comprehensive package including medical insurance with employer-subsidized premiums, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company participation, paid time off accrued weekly, weekly pay with on-demand access for emergencies, as well as complimentary parking, uniforms, and daily shift meals. This role provides variable shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays, catering to the dynamic needs of the club and its members. Ideal candidates are energetic, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. They are excellent communicators who understand that outstanding service often comes from consistently executing the small details well. If you are passionate about delivering memorable experiences and want to join a well-respected institution that values professionalism, accountability, communication, quality, and teamwork, Piedmont Driving Club welcomes your application.
