Cask is a boutique retail store and neighborhood craft beverage outpost located on College Avenue in Berkeley, nestled between Rockridge and Elmwood. Known for specializing in small-production and hard-to-find spirits, wines, beers, and bar tools, Cask has established itself as a hub for enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality experience, ideally in bar and retail environments
- Basic knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, or beer
- Ability to work Thursday through Sunday between 2 pm and 12 am
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Comfortable using point-of-sale and basic IT systems

- Previous hospitality experience, ideally in both bar and retail environments
- Strong interest and baseline knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, or beer
- Outgoing, adaptable, and confident in guest interactions

Job Duties
- Provide friendly and informed bar service in a casual, craft-focused setting
- Engage guests with product knowledge and personalized recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar environment
- Assist customers in discovering new beverage favorites
- Connect customers' drink choices with retail products to encourage purchases
- Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experience
- Manage point-of-sale transactions efficiently
