Cask is a boutique retail store and neighborhood craft beverage outpost located on College Avenue in Berkeley, nestled between Rockridge and Elmwood. Known for specializing in small-production and hard-to-find spirits, wines, beers, and bar tools, Cask has established itself as a hub for enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. Cask's Tap Room complements its retail shop by serving a rotating selection of curated pours inspired by the specialty bottles available in-store. The bartending position at Cask's Tap Room is a dynamic and hospitality-driven role with shifts spanning Thursday through Sunday, typically between 2 pm and 12 am. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality experience, ideally in bar and retail environments
- Basic knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, or beer
- Ability to work Thursday through Sunday between 2 pm and 12 am
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Comfortable using point-of-sale and basic IT systems
