The Casino Porter is responsible for the upkeep and tidiness of designated sections of the casino by removing trash, cleaning slot machines and chairs, vacuuming, and addressing any hazards, including biohazards. The Casino Porter is responsible for sweeping and removing debris from floors, dusting and cleaning slot machines, polishing chairs, and ensuring all ashtrays and trash cans are cleaned and replenished. In addition, this role requires responding proactively to guest challenges, swiftly resolving issues while anticipating potential problems. In doing so, the Casino Porter contributes significantly to creating a safe and friendly environment that aligns with MGM Resorts' high standards and reputation for delivering memorable experiences.
The role also emphasizes teamwork and communication skills, as the Casino Porter works closely with other team members and departments to maintain smooth operations throughout the casino.
