The hiring establishment is a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality venue specializing in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to its guests. The role of Bartender at this venue is essential in creating memorable guest experiences by crafting and serving beverages with efficiency and flair. Beyond mixing drinks, the Bartender is expected to provide friendly and engaging service, making guests feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive. The position involves greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, preparing cocktails accurately according to established recipes, and maintaining the cleanliness and stock levels of the bar area throughout the shift. In addition to drink preparation, the Bartender assists with food service by running food to tables and supporting other team members as needed. Candidates must demonstrate thorough knowledge of all menu offerings and be capable of suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience.
The Bartender is also responsible for performing various side duties such as cutting garnishes, restocking inventory, managing beverage deliveries, and ensuring all transactions are handled accurately. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is critical, as is compliance with company policies and health district guidelines. This position requires passing a Pour Test and holding necessary certifications including a valid Alcohol Awareness Card, Health Card, and Non-Gaming (Sheriff's) Card issued by appropriate authorities. Previous experience in bartending or related roles is preferred, though candidates with a strong desire to learn and excellent customer service skills will be considered. - must possess a valid non gaming card issued by the lvmpd sheriffs card
- must be able to reach stoop bend lift and clean during various activities throughout shift
- must be able to communicate fluently in english
Job Qualifications
- must be 21 years or older
- previous experience as a bartender or apprentice bartender is preferred
- must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- must be able to communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs
- previous money-handling and cash register experience is preferred
- must possess a valid alcohol awareness card tam act or other qualifying card
- must possess a valid health card issued by the southern nevada heath district
- must possess a valid non gaming card issued by the lvmpd sheriffs card
- must be able to reach stoop bend lift and clean during various activities throughout shift
- must be able to communicate fluently in english
Job Duties
- greet all guests sincerely with a smile and eye contact and provide superior guest service
- prepare and pour drinks accurately for guests and cocktail servers as needed
- efficiently serve food and beverage following the service sequence standards
- understand and demonstrate proper recipe adherence as well as liquor beer and wine service
- possess thorough knowledge of all menu items and ability to suggestively sell items to guests
- properly set up service station at start of shift and break down station at end of shift
- clean bar and lounge area including bar top sinks glassware lounge tables and all storage areas
- assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of restaurant when necessary
- restock bar products garnish trays and ice bins as necessary throughout shift
- assist in the receipt transport and storage of beverage products
- restock bar inventory as well as change beer kegs and soda bibs
- cut fruit and garnishes to specifications for use in cocktails
- empty trash cans to maintain service and sanitation standards
- must pass a pour test
- process all transactions correctly and accurately and present all guests with a receipt
- run food to tables throughout the restaurant announcing each item as delivered
- bus tables as necessary throughout the restaurant
- perform assigned side work
- actively market fine entertainment venues by collecting guests personal information for the marketing database
- must maintain a clean and organized work environment following all guidelines established by the southern nevada health district
- adhere to all department and company policies and procedures
