Players Edge is a distinguished employee role at a prominent casino operation, where maintaining the integrity and smooth flow of table games is paramount. This position involves sitting at table games such as California style Blackjack or Three Card Poker within your assigned casino. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must be available to work graveyard or swing shifts including weekends and holidays
- successful background check
- apply for, receive, and maintain a license from the Bureau of Gambling Control
- strong mental math skills
- ability to sit or stand at a gaming table for extended periods
- ability to carry items weighing 2-10 lbs
- capable of simple grasping and manipulation of casino chips
- reach or extend arm 6-12 inches
- occasional hand and wrist rotation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Third-Party Proposition Player Services License Badge (TPPPS Worker License) or ability to obtain
- proficiency in mental math including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- customer service experience preferred
- ability to work night and weekend shifts
- successful background check
- knowledge of Blackjack, Three Card Poker, or similar table games
Job Duties
- Monitor game rules and ensure compliance at the table
- act as a double-check on the dealer to verify wins and losses
- provide customer service and assist patrons as needed
- maintain awareness of chip distribution and collection
- uphold casino security and fairness standards
- assist in resolving disputes at the gaming table
- adapt to shift schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
