As a Casino Concierge at MGM Resorts, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience by connecting with guests, delivering personalized services, and fostering player loyalty. Beyond merely serving guests, the Casino Concierge is responsible for critical administrative duties such as maintaining detailed monthly reports on slot and pit expenses and comps, accurately tracking player comp guidelines, and generating new member sign-ups to increase carded play. Familiarity with software tools such as LMS, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Super Playmate or similar systems is beneficial. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 2 years of experience in casino marketing, VIP services, or guest services
- willing to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- proficiency in LMS, Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and Super Playmate or similar software preferred
- effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of prior experience in casino marketing, VIP services or guest services experience is preferred
- willing to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- proficient in LMS, Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel), and Super Playmate or similar software is preferred
- able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a goodwill ambassador to guests
- anticipate and resolve problems as appropriate
- meet monthly and quarterly goals in theoretical win dictated by Slot Marketing Director
- educate and train hosted players on upcoming tournaments, promotions, and events
- answer all hosted players questions in a timely manner, either in person or via phone or email
- prepare, maintain and submit monthly slot and pit expense and comp reports
- provide accurate accounting of all pit and slot players comp guidelines including but not limited to all comp transactions, theoretical and actual win, room stock items, limo services, show tickets
- identify and generate new member sign-ups with the purpose of increasing percentage of carded play
- generate incremental carded play from existing hosted guests
- update club accounts with current address, phone number and email addresses as needed
