The role of Bartender at WarHorse Gaming, based in Omaha, NE, is a part-time position offering $12.00 per hour plus tips. This non-exempt role features a varying schedule that aligns with business needs and provides access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes federal employees medical coverage, full insurance offerings, a 401K plan with immediate vesting and company match, a quarterly incentive program, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave, and a discounted meal program. Working as a Bartender at WarHorse Gaming means contributing directly to the guest experience by delivering exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced casino environment characterized by high energy and diverse guest interactions.
The Bartender is responsible for not only preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages but also for engaging guests by sharing knowledge of beverage options and promoting menu selections. This position requires keen attention to compliance with local, state, and federal alcohol service laws, along with the ability to assess and respond appropriately to guest intoxication levels, ensuring safe and responsible service practices. The role also involves operating all bar equipment proficiently, managing inventory control, processing payment transactions, and assisting with the creation of new drink specials and promotions. Beyond basic service duties, the Bartender supports the development of beverage staff by training servers aiming to transition into bartending roles, fostering a collaborative and professional team-based environment.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume bar, nightclub, fine dining, or service bar environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation techniques
- Ability to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume bar, nightclub, fine dining, or service bar environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation techniques
- Ability to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
- Experience as a mixologist in high-volume or specialty beverage environments
- Prior experience training or mentoring beverage staff
Job Duties
- Practice, support, and maintain the mission, vision, and values of WarHorse Gaming
- Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient beverage service to all guests
- Prepare, sell, and serve cocktails and other beverages according to standards
- Engage with guests regarding beverage selections, styles, and recommendations
- Upsell and promote beverage offerings while maintaining responsible alcohol service
- Assess guest intoxication levels and take appropriate action when necessary
- Comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws and company policies
