Phantom Fireworks currently seeks friendly and reliable team members to join their retail staff. No prior experience is required as full training is provided to all new employees. The role involves assisting customers with their purchases, operating the point-of-sale system, managing inventory, and maintaining the presentation of the store to enhance the shopping experience.
As a team member at Phantom Fireworks, you will register customers before they enter the store, handle state identification checks, and capture necessary customer information. You’ll explain current promotions and store policies clearly to customers, operate the POS system accurately to process transactions, and ensure that customers receive all purchased items in bags, boxes, or carts as appropriate. Additionally, you will support inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, assisting with scanned inventory counts, and replenishing low-stock items on the sales floor. Physical duties such as lifting boxes and unloading delivery trucks are part of the role, so the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment is essential.
The position requires excellent communication skills and a helpful attitude to provide the best customer service experience. You must be able to work during the seasonal hours typical of retail fireworks sales and be prepared to stand for extended periods. All candidates must pass a background check to ensure the safety and security of the store and its customers. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required as full training is provided
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing for long periods
- Availability to work seasonal and flexible hours
- Must pass a background check
- Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties
- Register customers prior to entering the store
- Take state IDs and capture customer information
- Explain current sales promotions and store policies
- Learn and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Scan and process customer transactions accurately
- Take customer payments and issue receipts
- Place purchased items in bags, boxes, or carts
- Retrieve carts as needed
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain store appearance
- Place products in proper storage areas
- Assist with inventory scanning and counting
- Help organize and identify items in the warehouse or storage containers
- Unload delivery trucks and restock sales floor as needed
- Identify low-stock areas and replenish shelves
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned
