This role involves a blend of customer service, cashiering, housekeeping, and stocking responsibilities to maintain a welcoming and efficient store environment. The primary purpose is to ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous service to customers while adhering to company policies, including Techniques of Alcohol Management, tobacco sales, security, safety, and health regulations. Employees in this role handle cashiering duties in accordance with AIM Cash Policy and are responsible for checking in new merchandise, stocking shelves, pricing items, and maintaining cleanliness through housekeeping tasks.

Daily duties include greeting customers promptly, performing cashier transactions accurately, and following store security and safety procedures. Additionally, the role involves food handling and sanitation duties under company guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both employees and customers. Periodic responsibilities include attending monthly store meetings and training classes to stay informed and compliant with store operations and policies.

Occasionally, the employee may assist with checking in merchandise, performing stocking and pricing duties, cleaning gasoline pumps, and covering shifts at other locations as assigned. The role requires working under regular store conditions indoors, as well as outdoors when needed, adapting to typical weather conditions.

Work involves frequent use of equipment such as cash registers, gas consoles, coffee makers, safes, pricing guns, cigarette racks, fast food equipment, and various cleaning and cooking devices. The position demands physical stamina for continuous standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting merchandise cartons up to 50 pounds. Mental demands require sustained attention to detail, concentration, alertness, and mathematical skills for accurate cash handling. Communication is key as the employee will continually interact with customers and co-workers to meet requests and provide excellent service.

This role reports directly to the Store Manager and is suited for individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent, who are eager to learn and capable of providing exceptional customer experiences while maintaining store standards. On-the-job training and Sales Associates Training Class (BSAT) are provided to support success in this position. No prior experience is required, but the ability to pass a TB clearance is mandatory.
