Job Description

GPM Investments, LLC is one of the leading convenience store operators in the United States, known for its commitment to quality service, clean and safe store environments, and strong community engagement. As a prominent name in the retail convenience sector, GPM Investments operates a widespread network of stores that offer everything from snacks, beverages, and lottery tickets to fuel and everyday essentials. The company prides itself on a team-oriented culture that values reliability, customer service, and the dedication of its employees. Aside from its expansive footprint in the retail market, GPM Investments emphasizes internal growth and provides opportunities for career advancement to its team members, helping employees build long-term careers in the retail and service industries.

This second-shift Sales Associate position at GPM Investments plays a pivotal role in maintaining the welcoming ambiance and operational excellence of the stores during the afternoon and evening hours, typically spanning from 2 PM to midnight. The role requires dependable, hard-working individuals who take pride in foundational tasks that ensure a safe, clean, and efficient shopping experience for every customer. Sales Associates are responsible not just for the customer-facing duties but also for critical maintenance functions such as cleaning restrooms, maintaining the cleanliness of gas pumps, and picking up litter in and around the store premises.

The position demands a positive attitude and a team-player mindset, as well as the physical stamina to perform duties in various weather conditions and to stand or be on the move throughout the shift. Employees in this role become experts in handling sales of regulated products like lottery tickets, cigarettes, and alcohol, ensuring strict adherence to legal age verification and compliance regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy a flexible, active work environment and prefer the afternoon to nighttime shift, as well as those who appreciate the chance to engage directly with customers and contribute tangibly to store operations.

Candidates are required to have basic math skills, good communication abilities in English, and the capability to lift and handle inventory items as part of stocking responsibilities. The role also offers competitive advantages such as weekly pay, flexible schedules with full-time and part-time options, free beverages during shifts, 401(k) options, and promotional pathways within the organization. GPM Investments is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse workplace free from unlawful discrimination and maintains a drug-free workplace environment. This position is ideal for individuals who seek a dynamic retail role that combines customer service with operational responsibilities, and who are enthusiastic about being part of a respected company that supports employee growth and community involvement.
