Job Qualifications
- previous experience in food service, quick service & fast-food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required
- familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- demonstrated ability in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions
- experience in food preparation, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen work enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is beneficial
- ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Job Duties
- operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and payments
- greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- prepare and serve food items with attention to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- rely on culinary experience and food preparation skills to assist in basic kitchen tasks when needed
- deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to tables or designated pickup areas, maintaining a quick service pace
- assist with food industry-specific tasks such as serving, cashiering, and food safety compliance in a retail or café setting
