We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cashiers / Runners. This dual role is essential in ensuring smooth and efficient food service operations. As a Cashier / Runner, you will be the friendly face that customers first interact with, managing transactions at the register while simultaneously ensuring that food orders are delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, while also gaining valuable experience in safe food handling and customer engagement within a bustling environment. This role demands strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a customer-oriented approach to maintain a lively and welcoming atmosphere suitable for all patrons.

The role is designed to provide a comprehensive learning platform where you will be involved in various duties from order taking and upselling menu items to assisting with basic kitchen tasks and ensuring compliance with food safety protocols. With training provided, previous food service experience is advantageous but not mandatory, allowing motivated individuals from diverse backgrounds to succeed. You will also develop time management skills necessary to excel during busy periods, supporting your team to maintain efficient service flow and high customer satisfaction. The position offers hourly compensation between $10.00 and $11.00 and is based on in-person attendance, providing a stable opportunity for growth and skill development within the food service industry. Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in food service, quick service & fast-food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required
  • familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
  • demonstrated ability in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions
  • experience in food preparation, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen work enhances your ability to succeed in this role
  • strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is beneficial
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting

Job Duties

  • operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and payments
  • greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
