We are currently seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in providing outstanding customer service, managing both in-person and telephone interactions with guests. As a Cashier at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub, you will be responsible for operating cash registers and POS systems accurately, ensuring each order is processed efficiently and meets the customers’ specifications. Attention to detail is crucial as you will handle monetary transactions with precision. Beyond transaction processing, your ability to communicate warmly and professionally will enhance the overall guest experience, making every visitor feel valued and appreciated.

The ideal candidate will be 21 years or older, possess a current TAPS Card and Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card, and demonstrate a strong team spirit with the ability to work well under pressure. Weekend availability is mandatory, with open availability preferred. Prior experience in serving or bartending is advantageous but not required, as we welcome fast learners who are eager to grow within our team. This position demands stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment while maintaining focus and professionalism.
