Arlington Heights Ford is currently seeking a friendly, professional Cashier/Receptionist to join its growing team. This role is vital to the smooth operation of the dealership, acting as the first point of contact for customers and visitors while ensuring efficient handling of financial transactions. As a Cashier/Receptionist, the successful candidate will manage incoming calls across all dealership departments, provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, and accurately process payments including cash, checks, and credit cards. Balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift and preparing bank deposits will be key responsibilities, alongside maintaining dealer license plate inventory and performing light filing and scanning duties. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • Computer and math skills required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment

Job Duties

  • Answer and manage incoming calls across all dealership departments
  • Accurately balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and prepare bank deposits
  • Process cash, check and credit card receipts for Sales, Parts and Service departments
  • Maintain dealer license plate inventory
  • Perform light filing and scanning
  • Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Perform other support tasks as assigned
