Job Qualifications

- knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware preferred
- basic English language skills sufficient to understand customer inquiries and communicate simple instructions
- ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee maker
- comprehension and application of written product labeling instructions for safe use
- ability to stand walk and sit continuously during shift
- ability to lift and move tables chairs and podiums up to 80 lbs
- ability to push pull and carry goods on hand carts up to 100 lbs
- physical ability to twist bend stoop reach talk hear see and smile
- commitment to neat clean and well-groomed personal appearance
Job Duties
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome
- coordinate guest seating to accommodate comfort
- distribute guests evenly among servers
- regulate order flow to the kitchen
- maintain stock and cleanliness of work-station including storage rooms and kitchen
- serve guests with beverages breads and butter and replenish as necessary
- assist servers in delivery of orders and pre-busing tables
- promptly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
- reset all service ware as prescribed
- transport all dirty tableware to dishwashing area and sort for proper cleaning
- perform routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- assist with buffet as needed
- provide a safe work environment by following safety and security procedures
- maintain neat clean and well-groomed appearance
- perform any related duties as requested by management
