This particular opportunity is based at the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg location and offers a part-time employment position within Sodexo’s food service team. The pay rate is set at $16 per hour, with work shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, varying days, and rotating weekends to accommodate operational needs. As a Cashier/Food Service Worker, you will be an essential frontline team member responsible not only for handling transactions but for providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere to all customers. This role combines customer service with operational duties such as food preparation support, retail assistance, and maintaining clean and organized work areas.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work mornings afternoons evenings varying days and rotating weekends
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to food service including standing for long periods
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Work in the food service operation handling cash and credit transactions from Sodexo and client customers
- Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables
- Provide support to the retail operation including setup maintaining supplies and products and assisting in cleanup and closedown
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
