Located at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Sodexo is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Cashier/Food Service Worker. This position offers flexible full-time or part-time employment opportunities, with pay ranging from $11.09 to $15.01 per hour. Working hours vary with preferred open availability to accommodate different schedules. As a Cashier/Food Service Worker, you will be the friendly face customers encounter, responsible for operating cash registers and handling cash and credit transactions with a customer-first approach. Your duties extend to assisting in the setup and serving of food at counters and steam tables, supporting retail operations by maintaining supplies and product displays, and contributing to cleanup and closedown tasks. Timeliness and reliability in attending scheduled shifts are essential for success in this position.
