As a Cashier and Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our store to customers, responsible for creating a welcoming environment through your friendliness and professionalism. You will be operating the point-of-sale system efficiently to process transactions including purchases, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and integrity. Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and sales calculations
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to handle cash and credit card payments securely
  • excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • ability to work part-time hours
  • positive and enthusiastic attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and retail sales strategies
  • strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats
  • customer service expertise with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
  • knowledge of grocery store operations including stocking, merchandising, and inventory management
  • experience supervising or leading team members is a plus
  • bilingual abilities are highly valued

Job Duties

  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, returns, and exchanges
