Job Duties
- Welcome every customer with a friendly and positive attitude
- Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
- Assist customers with questions and direct them throughout the store
- Bag purchases efficiently and thank customers for shopping with us
- Keep the checkout area clean, stocked, and organized
- Recover merchandise throughout the sales floor
- Return unwanted merchandise to the appropriate departments
- Monitor and maintain fitting rooms
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including restrooms, break room, sales floor, counters, and common areas
- Assist with maintaining attractive displays
- Help maintain a safe shopping environment by keeping aisles clear and reporting hazards
- Work collaboratively with managers and team members to accomplish daily goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
