Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- hand use includes single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- capable of bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- able to work with FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- able to work in wet and cold environments
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to use tools and equipment like box cutters and electric pallet jacks
- may require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- cleans and stocks Front End areas including own register
- follows all cash handling procedures meeting and exceeding regional cashier variance policy
- assists with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines
- proactively participates in company programs
- arrives to workstation on time and ready to work
- provides excellent customer service addressing customer needs timely and effectively
- maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follows and ensures compliance with weights and measures, health, sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintains a clean and sanitary environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- immediately reports safety hazards and violations
- performs other duties as assigned by leadership
- completes assigned shopper training and shopper tasks as needed
