The role demands flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must also be comfortable working in varying conditions, including wet and cold environments, and using tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks.
Successful team members are expected to arrive on time, be appropriately groomed and dressed, attend mandatory trainings and meetings, and actively participate in company programs. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Checking out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- upholding government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- following proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- using proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- cleaning and stocking front end areas including own register
- following all cash handling procedures and meeting/exceeding regional cashier variance policy
- assisting with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- assisting supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines
- proactively participating in company programs
- arriving on time, appropriately groomed and dressed, and ready to work
- providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs promptly
- answering phones and pages courteously
- maximizing sales potential through product prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising
- following and ensuring compliance with established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintaining a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performing opening, mid, and closing duties
- ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately reporting safety hazards
- performing other duties as assigned by store or company leadership
