The role requires flexibility and a readiness to perform other duties within the Customer Service team, including assigned shopper tasks when necessary. Physical stamina and the ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are also required.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand or walk 6-8 hours per day
- Proficient with hand use including grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Capable of bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Able to work in a wet and cold environment
- Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
- May require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- Cleans and stocks Front End areas including own register
- Follows all cash handling procedures meeting and exceeding regional cashier variance policy
- Assists with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- Helps control customer flow and reduce waiting time
- Participates in company programs as directed by leadership
- Arrives on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work
- Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques
- Answers phones and pages promptly and courteously
- Maximizes sales potential through effective prepping, storing and stocking
- Maintains a clean and sanitary environment
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- Reports safety hazards and violations
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
- May be assigned shopper tasks within the Customer Service Team
